The Mission Of The Church Is Souls

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

- Matthew 9:36-38

Our Missions Commitment

Copper State Baptist Church recognizes the responsibility to obey the Great Commission given by Christ in Mark 16:15, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” In our endeavor to obey this commission, Copper State Baptist Church has a thriving Missions Program. As a church we provide prayer and financial support to different missionaries and missions organizations. Due to safety concerns for our missionary families, we do not list their names on our website.

Our Local Outreach Commitment

Copper State Baptist Church recognizes the responsibility for the local church to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those within its community. The command given in Mark 16:15 to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” includes local areas as well, such as our own community. For this reason, Copper State Baptist Church makes a constant effort to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those within Bisbee, Arizona and surrounding areas.
